Astron rather than Astroon. However, I proceeded to look up the second part of Astroon, on, and I found that it was of German derivation meaning in contact with or in motion towards. On is currently defined as in a position above but in contact with and support by. I then understood the name Astroon to mean that this being is from a star, and his energy moves toward us, is in contact with us and supports us.
By offering stories where the truth is veiled, Astroon catches us unawares so that the natural resistance that keeps us in our safe cocoons of illusion is lovingly removed. Astroon recognizes and honours the struggle for awakening yet refuses to let us off the hook. We came here to evolve, and Astroon intends for us to fulfill our purpose.
This work offers 36 lectures; Astroon encourages you to work with each one individually and spend the necessary time to grasp each lecture’s meaning and to allow his intentions to bring the essential change within your perceptions and your experience of life. This book is not one to be consumed in a weekend, for much will be lost and little gained by such an exercise. Astroon is a wonderful, patient and loving teacher. Please allow him to teach you, for in opening to him, you open to a core part of yourself, and the discoveries you make will accelerate your inward voyage and help you stay firmly on your course of awakening.

Writing this work has been a journey of discovery; I, Astroon, gave the channel, Lynda, the stories. She then had to go deep within herself to discover their meaning and allow them to work with her on the inner plane. Now, reader, it is your turn to travel this journey of opening to my words and working with me to find essential aspects of yourself that have been hiding from full view thus actively preventing exposure.
This work is called a book of lectures, for it is intended to offer a course of study whereby you can experience the penetration and a cutting through of that which we (note: Astroon refers to himself in both plural and singular terms) will call your survival walls—those barriers erected by the developing ego in order to function on this planet. By penetrating and ultimately destroying these barriers, you will experience a wider and wider access to your own divine self, and you will flow fully and easily with the energy of Source that lives both within and without.
The stories are purposefully simplistic and brief. Their intent is to catch you unawares, and while you are off guard, to use the energy of the words to open a pathway to the core of your own divinity. It is a crafty way of working, but we require that your defenses be down and your mind busy if we are to break through these walls that you have built and that have done their work so effectively.
The lectures will usually include a story, a guided visualization, an interpretation and a meditation. The given interpretation may be different from your experience of the narrative. By being open to different variations, you permit each tale to offer a viable journey into self, penetrating the walls of protection and allowing the inner truths to come forward. These stories have no single explanation; they will simply awaken you to all sorts of possibilities and allow that which is within to come forward to nurture and feed you.
Use this book as a tool for self-discovery. Spend time with each lecture; immerse yourself in the stories; delight in the characters; keep a written journal of your experiences, and when you are troubled, return again and again to the stories, for your answers are hidden in their depths, and by journeying into them, you travel deep into yourself. This volume is a gift to your inner being, a way for your interior self to findexpression. Allow the tears, laughter, loneliness and joy to clear a path that allows the divine within to experience unfettered expression.
I, Astroon, wish to offer the following words of assistance. Honour the path that opens before you; it may appear strange, wonderful, welcoming or even intimidating. However, know that only fear will prevent you from seeing the beauty and the pure delight of the way. You will require courage, steadfastness and, above all, a great compassion for self. You are working together with many others from the Earth and elsewhere to accelerate the evolution of humanity.
